Having worked with such brands like Broncolor, Elinchrom, Manfrotto, Gitzo, Horseman, Mamiya, Minox, Balcar, Leica, Leaf, Epson, LaCie, Promise, Apple, Godox, Sekonic, Nanlite, Pelican, Pelican AIR, edelkrone, Sonodyne etc for the Indian market, Vihang has worked with the top advertising and commercial photographers, cinematographers and leading rental houses across India and has successfully represented various international companies in India.
Achievements & Accolades
As part of his hands-on approach, Vihang has conducted over 1000 demonstrations for Leaf Digital backs in India and over 2000 demonstrations for Lighting solutions over the last 31 years.
Vihang VASA has earned several distinguished accolades throughout his career, including the Broncolor Award for Excellence (2013–2014) at Photokina 2014 in Cologne, Germany, the Alta Labs Inc Certified Product Specialist (2025), and Alta Labs Inc Installer of the Month (October 2025).
He received the Shari Master Craftsman Award (1995) and, two decades later, the Shari Ratna (October 2015) from the Shari Academy of Photography for outstanding achievement in the field of Photography.
Vihang VASA is also a certified Apple engineer and T3 (Train-the-Trainer) for Apple Aperture, with over 20 years of experience as a certified repair specialist for photographic flash lights products by Balcar (France) and Broncolor (Switzerland).
He is also a OEM trained home theatre specialist, with expertise in projectors, projection screens, home theatre audio, AVRs, speakers, and Dirac Live audio calibration, recommending the right solutions based on client requirements.
Additionally, he OEM trained and specializes in analog audio, including turntables, vinyl sourcing and cleaning, vacuum tube amplifiers, power and audio cables, power conditioners, LAN network filters, audio connectors, and complete system installation.
From 1997 to 2012, Vihang was trained by the German company Leica and worked as a Sport Optics Specialist for the Indian market. He also served as a product specialist for camera and lighting support with the Manfrotto and Gitzo group of companies for over 10 years in India. and had the opportunity to work with and promote legendary Swiss brand Victorinox multi-purpose tools in India.
